The NDP's critic for The Ministry Of Children And Families says its time for the Campbell Government to act. Nicholas Simons, a former child protection worker, says the Minister needs to put more resources into front line help for children.The Minister Of Children And Family Development Tom Christensen says his Ministry has made a lot of changes in the last two years. Tom Christensen says he will be looking at all of the recomendations made by the coroner's jury. Christensen says 17 of the recommendations are directed at his Ministry. He says he will review the recommendations carefully. Christensen says since the incident, The Ministry has added almost 200 social workers and may look at adding more.
