You load sixteen tons, what do you get?

Some Politicians think a taxpayer is made outta dough
A poor taxpayer's life is a tough row to hoe.
A tough row to hoe and nothing comes free
But I don’t want to pay to built your legacy.

I load sixteen tons, what do I get?
Another day older and my City is deeper in debt
Mayor don't you call me 'cause I wanta be free
But I owe my paycheque to your municipality.

If you see me comin', better step aside
This taxpayer is pissed off, Politicians better hide
One fist of iron, the other of steel
If the right one can’t vote you down, then the left one will.

You load sixteen tons, what do you get?
Another day older and your City is deeper in debt
Mayor don't you call me 'cause I wanta be free
But I owe my paycheque to your municipality.

With thanks and apology to a great song of Tennesse Ernie Ford.
