The provincial government is coming to the aid of users of the Pat Duke Memorial Arena in Lumby. Okanagan-Vernon MLA, Tom Christensen, recently announced funding of just under $200,000 for repairs and upgrades to the arena. Christensen says the funds will go toward replacing the ice plant refrigeration system and for further upgrades to the facility.
