MLA Says Health Care Must Planned with Facts

Starlee Speers Astral Media Radio (Vernon)

The MLA for Okanagan-Vernon says, while petitions are important to show what the community believes, health care isn't based on how many signatures are on it. Tom Christensen says, health care should be planned using facts. "At the end of the day we have a fourteen and a half billion dollar health care system in BC which should be planned based on factual information." The Vernon Taxpayers Association is currently circulating a petition requesting more funding for Vernon Jubilee Hospital. The Association along with doctors and other health care professionals at the hospital say VJH is under-funded and consistently over capacity.

Here is another Politician that we need to see the back end of. Why can't we elect people that will actually do the job without fluffing about or hiding behind something? Open and honest!! What ever happend to those ideas?

Has the government ever considered that they have to many managers and administrative personnel. Vernon would be a good example to start with. Three floors of the new building are estimated to be required form Admin personnel.

He is starting his defense already. If its facts-then let him provide the facts-he does not have any. This MLA should not run again-he has not helped Vernon and the surrounding area-he has only helped himself ie government pension etc
