Reporting to the Administrator, the Director of Financial Services is responsible for performing the statutory duties of Chief Financial Officer in accordance with the Local Government Act. The Director of Financial Services is required to attend Regional Board meetings as well as other internal and external committee and public meetings on an ‘as required’ basis.This position offers an annual salary range of $103,435 to $114,323, as well as an extensive benefits package and compressed work schedule. $115,856 is the salary paid in 2007 for this position. It appears that bureaucrab salaries have peaked and are starting to go down as NORD expects to attract candidates with a salary range below that of the incumbent. (I do wonder what a 'compressed work schedule' is ??)
