Buffy Steps Down

The Okanagan Shuswap Federal Liberal Association will be holding a nomination meeting ASAP. Buffy Baumbrough has resigned as the Liberal candidate for the next federal election. The Vernon Councillor says there are a number of reasons, including the uncertainty over the timing of the next federal election, her strong interest in local government issues and the expansion of her family's business. Baumbrough says it was a difficult decision, but she wants to be active politically, but at the local level, however she didn't rule out getting involved at the federal level in the future.

Perhaps the real reason is illustrated by your poll-hardly anybody would vote for her. Let us hope she is not on the next Council-she does not do anything and is not astute.

I am a psychic
I predict Buffy Baumbrough will have to apply for a job in the real world by end of November 2008
