Skins game goes high def

Jun 16, 2008 CASTANET

This week's TELUS World Skins Game at Predator Ridge is sold out, but fans at home will be able to enjoy the popular Canadian summer golf event as TSN and RDS bring world-class coverage of this made-for-TV original production. Organizers of the event say that the 2008 TELUS World Skins Game in support of BC Children’s Hospital will be broadcast in high definition for the first time. In addition, the immensely popular David Feherty, named by Golf Digest readers last year as their favourite golf commentator for his work on CBS golf broadcasts, will join TSN’s Rod Black in the booth for this year’s broadcast. TSN’s Bob Weeks returns as the on-course reporter and will be joined by former Canadian LPGA Tour player Gail Graham.

TSN’s coverage of the TELUS World Skins Game will air in two, two-and-a-half hour telecasts in prime time. The action begins with round one today at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT with the second round airing on Wednesday, June 18 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. Encores will be presented on TSN on Thursday, June 19 and Friday, June 20 at 12 noon ET/9 a.m. PT.
