The race for the B.C. Liberal Party seat in the newly created riding of Boundary Similkameen is already heating up. Osoyoos Mayor John Slater announced this week he would be putting his name forward for the nomination, making him the second South Okanagan mayor to announce his intentions. Last week Oliver Mayor Ron Hovanes confirmed he had also submitted his nomination form for the Boundary Similkameen riding under the B.C. Liberals.
