That from the mayors of Vernon, Penticton, the Westside and Kelowna who joined together today to sign the Intermunicipal Service Agreement allowing the leaders to work together on regional issues. Vernon Mayor Wayne Lippert says the agreement will reduce structure and administration costs and allow government to operate in a more timely fashion. "Time is money. It'll save us some dollars. It will help us move things along that will really affect the day to day lives of the people that live within the Okanagan Valley. We have to look after what we all moved here for, and why we live here and why we stay here." Leading edge-what a pile of crap-if this amounts to the words of wisdom from the new Minister-heaven help us. If the government ministry would offer some leadership instead of acting like the crappy bureaucrap organization that it is with old fossils like Paget then maybe there would be some hope.
