It will likely be at least a month or so before the nomination meeting is to choose a Liberal candidate in the Okanagan-Vernon riding. Chad Peterson with the BC Liberal party tells us that nomination meetings must be held for each riding in the Province. So far they've held 51, but they have 35 more to go. Peterson says it was a surprise when MLA Tom Christensen announced he wasn't running for re-election this May.
