A very messy scene is being cleaned up in the North Okanagan. The Vernon Flying Club on Tronson Road was the target of a B&E over the weekend and the vandals made quite a mess of the club's inside. RCMP spokeperson, Gord Molendyk, says the B&E was reported just after 10 a.m. Sunday. “This investigation has not been able to determine if the door was left unlocked, however, extensive damage was done to the inside of the club,” says Molendyk. He says unknown suspects dumped beer on the computers, threw coffee grounds all over the kitchen area and caused a large amount of damage inside. The estimate of the damage done is approximatley $2,000.
