Vernon Fire Rescue Info Session

Vernon residents are being encouraged to attend a public information meeting Thursday about the future of fire protection. Chief, Jeff Carlisle says their goal is to enhance the level of service through out the entire city. He says its all about response times. The Landing Volunteers say in 33 years they've never had a complaint about their service. The meeting is from 4:30 till 6pm at Council chambers. It is the first of two public information meetings.

Betty Selin gets so much press because she is a member of the media who publishes her copy online. I always attribute and acknowledge the source of all the items I post.

This same meeting was also reported by Richard Rolke of the Morning Star and I posted and attributed it at http://vernonblog.blogspot.com/2009/04/fire-plan-goes-before-public.html.

That posting of SUN FM was put on top of my blog on the day of the meeting to encourage public attendance.

Thank you for being a loyal blogreader
