Spokesman Gord Molendyk admits the numbers are higher than normal. Molendyk told the media, "At one time everybody felt that Christmastime was the big push for impaireds, but it's actually summer time. People are out partying and enjoying themselves."Mounties will be holding several traffic enforcement campaigns leading up to, and including, the long weekend and Funtastic.
