Betty Selin - Vernon 105.7 SUNFM:
The surgery went well. That's the latest on former Okanagan Shuswap MP, Darrel Stinson, who had surgery on Friday in Vancouver. Stinson was recently diagnosed with a rare form of kidney cancer and had one kidney removed. His wife, Cicely, says it's major surgery and while there were a few issues he is recovering well. The 64-year-old served 12 years in Ottawa before retiring due to bladder cancer. She says he'll spend another week to ten days recovering in Vancouver General. Stinson was MP from 1993 until 2005.
DON QUIXOTE VS. CITY HALL When an American gets mad, he says "where's my Gun". When a Canadian gets pissed off he says "Where is my pen, I'm going to send a letter to the EDITOR". When the EDITOR won't publish his letter he sets up his own BLOG page. When I received enough support to get a Council Seat the dogma of the establishment became : "Better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside pissing in." (Only time will tell !)
