ENDERBY – A design to improve the safety and flow of the Highway 97A corridor through Enderby will be available for public review and comment later this summer at an open house hosted by the Province and the City of Enderby. Intersection improvements are being made through the joint federal/provincial Infrastructure Stimulus Fund and supported by a budget of $5 million. Recommended by both the City of Enderby and the Province, the project is in the early design phase. Construction is expected to begin next spring and finish by fall 2010. Scheduling information for the upcoming public open house will be posted in the local press and on the websites of both the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure and the City of Enderby.
