Bush is coming back to Canada. The controversial former president of the United States will be in Edmonton Oct. 20 for a two-hour speaking engagement at the Shaw Conference Centre billed as "a conversation with George W. Bush."

He speaks at TCU Place in Saskatoon on Oct. 21, followed by an appearance in Montreal the next day.Bush — still vilified in the U. S. as one of the most unpopular presidents in history — has become something of an attraction in Canada, especially in Alberta, where political sympathies often have a Republican bent."People want to hear what he has to say," says Christian Darbyshire, co-owner of tinePublic, the Calgary firm that produces Bush's Canadian appearances. Bush reportedly makes $150,000 per appearance, but event organizers won't comment on his compensation.

Could easily replace Mr. Ed. over there. He wouldn't like it though. He doesn't have an army to use. Maybe he could do to the Oilers or Flames what he did to the Texas Rangers.

I cannot imagine anybody in their right mind would want to listen to what he has to say. Let alone for 2 full hours. Wow, what a butt number.
