Lake Country welcomes new CAO

Lake Country will welcome a new Chief Administrative Officer to the post in November when long-time incumbent Randall Rose retires. Rose's successor will be Alberto De Feo, currently the chief administrative officer for Williams Lake. De Feo has held the Cariboo city's post since July, 2003, according to his profile on a social networking internet site. He has previously held corporate administration posts with Pitt Meadows, Langley and Delta, according to a Lake Country news release. De Feo attended the Universita di Camerino in Italy from 1979 to 1984 from which he graduated with a doctorate in law and jurisprudence. Rose is retiring after a 35-year career in local government administration. Rose, according to the district's website, has been focusing on ensuring that Lake Country's successes will continue past his retirement. The CAO is the top non-elected position in local government hierarchies in B.C.
