A teenager was ticketed for several motor vehicle infractions after a crash that closed Highway 6 near the Coldstream Ranch this morning. RCMP say a blue Audi struck a barricade on the highway shoulder and then skidded into and breaking a Hydro pole just before 7:30. The car then rolled onto the railway tracks where it came to rest. The driver of the car was seen running from the scene. Police later attended the registered owners residence and spoke to an 18 year old male who admitted to driving. The teen was issued a traffic ticket for, failing to remain at the scene of an accident, no insurance, and driving without reasonable considerations. The road was closed for just under two hours. Taffic was detoured on Ricardo and Buchanan roads.
