Before finalizing its budget, the city of Penticton has done what it calls some "organizational review" which has resulted in the release of senior management. In a leaked email sent to Astral Media, staff were sent a memo outlining how "effective immediately" directors positions including: Corporate Services, Human Resources and the GM of Electric Utility will be leaving the employment of the city.The city points to "organizational review" as a result of the Core Services Review. A consultant's report will be released on Friday.

The City of Penticton has dropped the axe on three of its senior managers. Director of corporate services Jack Kler, director of human resources Dwayne Burdeniuk, and Terry Andreychuk, general manager of the city's electric utility, have all been dismissed by the City of Penticton.The administrative shakeup is part of the city's Core Services Review.
