Statutory Release requires federally sentenced offenders to serve the final third of their sentence in the community, under supervision and under conditions of release similar to those imposed on offenders released on full parole. Unlike the Federal Criminal System there is no 1/3 sentence commutation for Municipal Councils for either good or bad behaviour. (Citizen Recall as of now is also not an option) (Saturday Nov. 13, 2010 will be the 2/3 date for Municipal Councils.)
