The Department of Finance today released proposed draft regulations necessary to facilitate, effective September 1, 2010, the June 17, 2010 decision by the Government of Ontario to offer relief equivalent to the provincial portion of the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) for status Indians in Ontario.
