Poor market conditions are causing another two week curtailment at a pair of Tolko mills. The Vernon based forest products company will curtail production at its stud mills in Armstrong and Williams Lake (Soda Creek), from August 23rd until September 7th. About 315 employees will be affected. Armstrong site manager Pat Donnelly says they regret the impact on their employees, adding the restart will depend on product demand improving.
