Robbery

RCMP officers were able to nab three suspects within hours of a robbery at the Scotia Bank branch in the 32-hundred block of 30th Avenue Friday afternoon. Police tracked a vehicle to a gravel pit, in the the Otter Lake and Highway 97 area of Armstrong, after a suspect was spotted getting into a waiting vehicle following the robbery. Police say they were called to the bank around 3:40 pm, after a man had entered the premises and demanded cash from the teller. He is said to have discharged pepper spray and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
