Cheap gas seems to be fueling an economic boost in Enderby. Stations in the small city north of Vernon are selling in the 98 to 99 cent a litre range, ten cents cheaper than in Vernon and Armstrong, and according to web sites on the topic, the lowest in BC. Station staff tell KISS FM they don't know why their prices are so low as they're set by the gas companies, but the price has been around 98 for over a month. The city's four outlets say they're seeing steady business as a result. It's also led to someone posting signs around Vernon urging motorists to buy gas in Enderby and boycott Vernon stations.
