DRAFT’ TERMS OF AGREEMENT – PARKS RECREATION AND CULTURE SERVICE REVIEW and ESTIMATED FINANCIAL EFFECTS (P. 10)
Council at its meeting of October 12th, 2010, deferred further discussion on the Draft Terms of Agreement until the October 25th meeting. Mayor Garlick, District of Coldstream and Mayor Lippert, have discussed a joint meeting to review the draft agreement. THAT Council approves a Special Committee of the Whole meeting for Tuesday, November 9th, 2010, from 4:30pm to 6:30pm at the Recreation Centre located at 3310-37th Avenue, with the District of Coldstream Council and Electoral Area Directors “B” and “C” (and alternates) in order to review the draft Terms of Agreement for the Greater Vernon Parks, Recreation & Culture Service Review.
• Manager Finance has mapping indicating the net taxation available in his office for viewing.
CONTRACT FOR POLICE SERVICES RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AND PLANNING (P. 39)
THAT Council support no secondary FTE billing limit or at least a 55 average FTE billing level limit agreement supporting maintenance of current police service levels;
AND FURTHER, that the RCMP budget planning is implemented for best case scenario from a human resourcing perspective.
