DON QUIXOTE VS. CITY HALL When an American gets mad, he says "where's my Gun". When a Canadian gets pissed off he says "Where is my pen, I'm going to send a letter to the EDITOR". When the EDITOR won't publish his letter he sets up his own BLOG page.
When I received enough support to get a Council Seat the dogma of the establishment became : "Better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside pissing in." (Only time will tell !)
I can not believe that such an agreement would see the light of dayThis goes to prove that the City of Vernon is getting "screwed" by Coldstream and Areas B and C.If the City agrees to this,then they all need to be thrown out of office.
Anonymous, you assume that it was Coldstream and Areas B&C requested those changes. Be assured that it is not so: it was requested by the negotiators of the City of Vernon. I for one was not happy about dropping out of the agreement that originally established the Greater Vernon Parks and Recreation service. Coldstream's interest was to negotiate an agreement whereby Coldstream could take over maintenance of some of the parks located within Coldstream. Somehow it grew bigger and not by Coldstream's choice.
My appology to Coldstream. It sure would be nice to know which negotiators of Vernon wanted this-please tell us all-they should be thrown out before this goes any further.
