DON QUIXOTE VS. CITY HALL When an American gets mad, he says "where's my Gun". When a Canadian gets pissed off he says "Where is my pen, I'm going to send a letter to the EDITOR". When the EDITOR won't publish his letter he sets up his own BLOG page. When I received enough support to get a Council Seat the dogma of the establishment became : "Better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside pissing in." (Only time will tell !)

THE WORLD IS UPSIDE DOWN
Runaway Moon Theatre’s local tour of their new show “The World is Upside Down” continues to communities in the Shuswap and North Okanagan.
A blend of Runaway Moon’s intriguing style of puppet theatre and African storytelling, the production weaves together different languages, cultures and times, with an undercurrent of the common experience of water. From a wild nighttime taxi ride in Nairobi, to a gentle moment of connection over the pleasure of making music, it uses as a stepping stone the true story of events that took place in Kenya as performers Jimmy Ouma Okello and Cathy Stubington came to know each other, and learned to work together.
Catch Runaway Moon at any of these locations:
Lumby Sunday, October 17, 2 pm at White Valley Community Centre
Kelowna Friday, October 22nd, 7:30 pm, UBCO - Rm 144 Fine Arts Bldg
Vernon Saturday, October 23rd, 2 pm at Coldstream Women’s Institute
Tickets at the door - $12 adults, $5 children, $30 families. For more information and a full touring schedule www.runawaymoon.org, 306-3935
