Blair Lekstrom considering running for Liberal Leadership

According the Tyee, Peace River South MLA Blair Lekstrom is considering running for the Liberal leadership. Lekstrom earlier this year stepped down from the party over the HST and became an independent. He created some distance for himself from the HST, which may make him an ideal candidate, based on the scrutiny the Liberal Party is under because of the new tax.  Lekstrom openly stated that the job does interest him, but he would first like to speak with his family first before coming to a decision. He says he has maintained a good relationship with members of the Liberal Party. Lekstrom mentioned Kevin Falcon, George Abbott, Michael de Jong and Rich Coleman as other possible candidates.  Lekstrom expects that over the next ten days those interested will put their names forward.
