It was unanimous! - ALR App has Coldstream's Support
Coldstream Council has unanimously supported the application to the Agricultural Land Commission to use Okanagan College lands for a 7.8 million dollar outdoor sports facility. Councillor Maria Besso says because of previous unsuccessful attempts to remove the land from the ALR, they plan to put in more protection. Besso says the convenant would ensure half the property would not be turned into a parking lot or have buildings constructed, which should help with their request to the Land Commission.
