The city Vernon's snow removal budget is in good shape. Public works manager James Rice says they're able to carry money forward into the new year. "In 2010, our total snow and ice control budget is $575,000 and we spent $366,000, so we were under budget." This year's budget is similar in size and Rice says it's early days yet for that. He says the crews have been doing a good job despite the larger snowfalls of late. "We've had quite a few events, but they've been relatively small, so it's nothing we can't handle."
DON QUIXOTE VS. CITY HALL When an American gets mad, he says "where's my Gun". When a Canadian gets pissed off he says "Where is my pen, I'm going to send a letter to the EDITOR". When the EDITOR won't publish his letter he sets up his own BLOG page. When I received enough support to get a Council Seat the dogma of the establishment became : "Better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside pissing in." (Only time will tell !)

City Snow Costs Under Budget
