Lumby Teen Dies in Crash

18 year old Lumby teen dies in crash ThursdayAn 18 year old Lumby woman has been identified as the victim of Thursday's fatal crash near the Tolko mill on Highway Six, west of the village.  Rylie Deleurme was the lone occupant of a '97 Honda, westbound to Vernon when she was involved in a crash with a full size Dodge van.  Deleurme was a graduate from Kalamalka Secondary in Coldstream last year.  The two people in the van were checked in hospital.  RCMP spokesman Gord Molendyk says they haven't determined a cause of the crash as yet. "They are waiting for the results of several reports from the crash analyst, the autopsy and the mechanical of the vehicle." Molendyk says there's still no word on the names of the two Vernon men in their mid 80's, who died in a crash on 97A north of Armstrong Tuesday, as police continue to notify next of kin.
