Red Light Camera Coming Vernon Gets Just One

The province is spending 23-million dollars  putting in 140 red light cameras, but Vernon is only getting one.  ICBC Stats show between 2002 and 2008, the intersection of Hwy 97 and 43rd Avenue saw 27 accidents per year, with a total 74 people injured.  That is the only intersection in Vernon getting a new digital camera.  A ticket will cost you 167-dollars.
