# different scenarios for water rates in 2011 |
How they would effect 4 different residential customers is shown in the table at left.
A calculator that you can use to ascertain your potential increases (or decreases ?) is Here :
Don Quixote Note: Water Calculator for Proposed 2011 Rates
In order to be allowed to enter your data go to bottom of Calculator page and click on edit.
This calculator allows you to put your 2010 Quarterly water amounts in the 4 areas in Red and it will display both your 2010 Water Charges and a comparison to the 3 presently proposed water rates. Type in your First quarter Cubic meter Quantity and hit tab. Then type in your 2nd quarter quantity and hit tab. (Etc. Etc.)
-----------
Decreases (?): The only residential customers that will see any decrease ( and that only if low scenario is adopted) will be those who consume an average of 15 m3 or lower each and every quarter. (Total 60m3 per year with no quarter over 15 m3). The saving for the 15m3 customer would be 68 cents. The 10 m3 customer would save $20.68 and the 5 m3 customer could save $32.68. However if the medium scenario is chosen that same 5m3 customer would see an increase of $83.32. Use the calculator and check out all the possibilities.
