A deluge of documents has been a bit of a bonus for the Okanagan Equestrian Society. Spokesperson Ed Woolley has announced that horse racing is likely to return to Kin Race Track this year. It follows an agreement by the Society, the City of Vernon and the North Okanagan Regional District to put off a trial on the future of the track until next year. ``Now that we have this agreement, we're back on board with regards to useage and essentially that demand for us to leave the property has been withdrawn,'' Woolley says. The main reason for the delay is paperwork. Woolley says there are thousands of documents to go through, stretching back to 1965 or earlier. ``You expect there is going to be alot of documentation, it's just that it kept on expanding and expanding the more that we got into discoveries,'' explains Woolley. That trial is now slated to begin April 23rd, 2012. Woolley is also hoping the delay will bring more more members of the public galloping to the Society's side of the argument.
