The main organizer says a recall campaign against Vernon's MLA is still very much a possibility. Rod Baziw was reacting to concerns that only four people showed up for a meeting last weekend to sign up volunteers. Baziw says since then, he's heard up to 30 people are are interested in the effort to unseat MLA Eric Foster. He says a meeting for anyone interested will be held this Sunday at 2 at the People Place. If it does go ahead, volunteers will have 60 days to collect over 18-thousand signatures of eligible voter, to force a by-election.

The recall organizers ought to talk to the people in Lumby who are upset with Eric Foster MLA for trying to put a prison there.
Maybe Mr.Foster could redeem himself by getting involved in an open manner and stop the biased Lumby Council from promoting their prison - after all, Mr.Foster claims the prison was his idea.
Mr. Foster should reign in his IHA bureaucrats that want to force construction of a filtration plant at local taxpayer expense, too.
Or come up with the bucks to build it.
