Former Lawyer Gets Green Bid
Green Party members in the Okanagan Shuswap federal riding have selected their candidate for the next federal election. Retired Coldstream lawyer Greig Crockett won the three-way contest beating out Chris George from Salmon Arm and Karen Durant from Enderby. The election was held Thursday night at the Shubert Centre. The party's former candidate Erik Bjorgan of Salmon Arm resigned due to unforeseen circumstances in November.
