Man Gets 30 Months After Pleading Guilty To Bank Of Montreal - Robbery Suspect left ID at scene of crime

It didn't take long to catch the robber and it didn't take long to give him jail time. A provincial court judge in Vernon has sentenced 44-year-old Denis Lauzon to 30 months in jail for robbing the Bank of Montreal branch on 32nd Street in late February . The Quebec native pleaded guilty to one count of robbery. Lauzon, who'd been staying in a local homeless shelter, was caught only hours after he robbed the bank after leaving some ID at the crime scene. Lauzon was also slapped with a DNA order and a 10-year firearms ban.
