Vernon Monashee Conservatives Ramping Up - An information meeting in Vernon Thursday night.
Lots of speculation about when we might have a provincial election and the BC Conservatives continue to build their membership. Vernon Monashee constituency President, Ian Tribes says they're holding an information meeting in Vernon Thursday night. He says the Liberal and NDP leadership races haven't turned people off politics Tribes says the membership provincially is now at about 2-thousand, locally he says they gain 3 or 4 new members every week. The meeting is at the Schubert Centre, beginning at 6:30 featuring Provincial Party President, Wayne McGrath and former Conservative MP, Darrel Stinson.
