The regional district and Greater Vernon Water in conjunction with Interior Health have issued a Water Quality Advisory due to a water main break along 25th Avenue/Okanagan Landing Road from 4700 block to Peters Road. This includes customers in the areas listed below supplied by North Kalamalka Water Supply: Fulton High School, Okanagan Landing Elementary School, Ellison Elementary School, Snowberry Road, Dallas Road, Willow Park Road, Lakeshore Road, Longacre Drive, Longacre Place, Klinger Road, Grant Road, Harbour Heights, Seasons Drive, Lodge Court, Middlefield Road, Cummins Road, Fulton Road, Tern Place,Oriole Drive,Teal Drive, Canary Drive, Canary Place.

If water is highly turbid (cloudy), all customers should boil the water until tap water runs clear.
or these customers, water intended for the following uses should be boiled for one minute: drinking, washing fruits and vegetables, making beverages or ice, brushing teethThe following customers should be careful when ingesting the water: children, the elderly and people with weakened immune systemsThe above customers on the North Kalamalka Water Supply are being informed that an emergency water mainbreak in the North Kalamalka Supply may cause the turbidity to exceed an average over 2.5 NTU. Due to this increase in turbidity (cloudiness) the water quality is now rated as FAIR. The advisory will be in affect until further notice.
