Water rates for 2011 -- a minority report from GVAC.

The Coldstreamer has produced a posting that I believe will be presented to the NORD Meeting that will approve the water rates at 4 PM Today.

Don Quixote Note:

The last time I saw a minority report like this was in 2008 when former Mayor Wayne McGrath produced a minority report in which he recommended that Politicians remain on a CPI yearly increase formula rather than the large increase that the other 2 members of the Remuneration Committee had recommended for both Mayor and Council. The decision to debate that recommendation was taken out of in-camera and was debated and voted on in open Council. The minority report was approved unanimously by the 2008 Council of the day to take effect for the 2009 Council's 3 year term.

I hope that Mr. Kiss's minority report is able to persuade the NORD Directors that will vote on this that there is a better rate structure for 2011 but I am not optimistic.
