RCMP have released the name of the Vernon man killed in a collision between a cyclist and a semi. 19 year old Byron Roy Chatham died at the scene at L and A, and Silver Star roads Friday afternoon at 1:30. He was riding a bicycle that collided with a low-bed tractor trailer unit. Corporal Gerry Kovacs says the cause is still under investigation. "The Coroner's Service and a (police) analyst are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter, and until their report has been handed over to us, we're not able to comment." Kovacs expects the report into the accident to be completed in one or two months. "They're talking to witnesses and the investigation is ongoing."
