Liberal Candidate Goes Virtual as Campaign Kicks Off in Okanagan Shuswap - Janna Francis says her leader ``selling himself'' this election

Okanagan-Shuswap Liberals are making big use of the Web during the federal election campaign. Candidate Janna Francis says she hasn't even set up a campaign office. ``One of things we want to do is make sure all of the voters realize we are available to them so we've decided we're not going to have a physical office, we're going to have a virtual office,'' Francis explains. Her web page is at  www.jannafrancis.liberal.ca . Francis kicked off her election campaign in Vernon Friday, planting a big Canadian flag on her lawn and inviting Liberal Party supporters inside her East Hill home. Francis was asked if she felt as if part of her job this time was to sell leader Michael Ignatieff who's been hurt by Conservative attack ads. ``I think that (voters) are being influenced but I also think that they're tired of them,'' said Francis. ``I'm hearing people say `enough is enough...I want to hear what his plan is' and you know, Mr. Ignatieff is selling himself.''  Meanwhile, incumbent Conservative Colin Mayes starts his campaign Tuesday with a gathering at his campaign office in Vernon.

Another way of saying "I can't win and my campaign has no money"
