On Thursday evening April 21, 2011 at around 6 pm, the Vernon RCMP responded to a complaint of a pick up truck with occupants unsafely and illegally discharging a firearm near residences and cattle pasture on King Edward FSR. The witness and complainant observed and heard the discharging of the firearm. At one point the vehicle fled when the occupants noticed that they were being observed. The pick up truck drove onto Highway 6 towards Vernon and was observed being driven in an unsafe manner, dangerously passing other vehicles. It was eventually stopped by police on Highway 6 between 15th Street and Aberdeen Road. (More pictures and details)
