Cummins launches Okanagan tour


John Cummins, the leader designate of the new BC Conservatives, will be touring the Thompson-Okanagan over the next four days.  “I look forward to meeting with people and gaining a better understanding of the issues affecting this region,” says Cummins.  “By bringing the new BC Conservative message of common sense change to the Thompson-Okanagan, I hope to continue building on our eighteen percent approval rating.”  Cummins will be attending events and meetings in Penticton, Vernon, Kelowna, Salmon Arm and Kamloops.  The tour starts on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 in Penticton and wraps up on Friday, May 27 in Kamloops.  John Cummins will be elected as the leader of the new BC Conservatives on May 28.  Cummins represented the people of Delta and Richmond as their Reform and then Conservative MP for nearly 18 years.
