Search For Teen in Enderby

Search and RescueThe search for a missing teen in Enderby continues today.  Members of Vernon Search and Rescue were called out at 3 PM Saturday, to help RCMP in the hunt for a 17 year old male near Riverside Park in Enderby.  Police along with the boy's family and friends spent most of the day searching the community for the teen last seen in the park on Friday night.Search crews were brought in to comb the Shuswap River, both on the shore, and in the water.  Search master Leigh Pearson says the search was stood down at 10 PM as it was too dangerous for the crews to be at the rivers edge during darkness.  Search and Rescue members will be split up today with some in Enderby and others near Cherryville and the Goldpanner Cafe looking for the 31 year old Vernon man who was swept down Cherry Creek last weekend.
