DON QUIXOTE VS. CITY HALL When an American gets mad, he says "where's my Gun". When a Canadian gets pissed off he says "Where is my pen, I'm going to send a letter to the EDITOR". When the EDITOR won't publish his letter he sets up his own BLOG page. When I received enough support to get a Council Seat the dogma of the establishment became : "Better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside pissing in." (Only time will tell !)

Second cyclist struck this week
by Ron Manz - Castanet Aug 17, 2011 / 1:30 pm
For the second time in the past week, a cyclist has been struck in Vernon after failing to pay attention while riding. Vernon RCMP spokesman Gord Molendyk says a 12-year old boy was riding his bicycle on a walkway path when he failed to stop before entering 45th Street. The boy ran into an eastbound vehicle driving along 45th at the time. The youngster suffered only minor injuries. Alcohol and speed were ruled out as factors in the crash and the driver of the vehicle is not facing any charges. Molendyk reminds all cyclists to slow down and exercise caution when approaching or entering busy streets and for all drivers to be alert for anyone approaching them on a bicycle.
