The water quality advisory that's been on the Duteau source since late June, could be lifted next week. RDNO's Engineering GM Arnold Badke says the notice was in place in case other sources were needed to supplement the summer demand. However, he says the peak demand is almost over. "We expect hot temperatures until the weekend, so we're just going to hold back until Monday morning." Meantime, Badke says reservoir levels on the Duteau system are the highest they've ever been--at this time of year. He says last week's thunderstorm dumped a lot of rain into the system.
DON QUIXOTE VS. CITY HALL When an American gets mad, he says "where's my Gun". When a Canadian gets pissed off he says "Where is my pen, I'm going to send a letter to the EDITOR". When the EDITOR won't publish his letter he sets up his own BLOG page. When I received enough support to get a Council Seat the dogma of the establishment became : "Better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside pissing in." (Only time will tell !)
