MLA Eric Foster missed the official opening of the IPE - because he was
on a conference call with the Premier where she announced there would
be no fall election. Christy Clark is sticking to the fixed election
law, so we'll vote in May 2013. He says the big reason is the Premier heard from all over the
province they didn't want to go to the polls and she listened. Foster
admits there's been a lot of speculation about an election. He says Clarke has a lead in the polls, but is sticking to the fixed election. NDP Leader, Adrian Dix says they know Premier Clark made the decision
for one reason and one reason only: she has concluded from her own
polling she cannot win an election at this time.

See this is why the public has little or no confidence in these scummy politicians anymore. They are so deep in it they cannot even admit the obvious.
Get it straight liberals. The people of BC didn't want to have to go through the stinking expensive referendum or this tax but you forced the issue by having no clue what the people want. So where does this leave us?
We need to fire up the whole recall machine again, so you understand what it is that the people want?
Pretty safe to say, not your leadership.
Not calling the election has nothing to do with the HST referendum - MMMMMFFFFFFFTTTTT. C'mon now.
Remember Eric really needs that second term to get that gold-plated pension. He will do or say anything to get re-elected. The Liberals need to put some distance between themselves and the HST....I expect a lot of promises will get made with my tax dollars over the next 18 months!
Foster won the 2009 election by 1317 votes
The 'yes' side won by 454 votes in the HST referendum
So we had better see more beds at the hospital if Foster wants to get re-elected!
Adrian Dix will not let the Libs get away with any fumble jumble !! Yay !! He knows Christie is the disarming face the Libs needed in B.C. to undo all the indigestion Gordo gave us. We tax payers will not be fooled by the 'nice' image, nor being told that it will take a year and a half to unbungle the red tape line to the time line and billions? of dollars it will take to undo this big assinine assault on our intelligence. It would be fair to describe the Libs of B.C. as Insensitively Corporately Connected
