Not Happy With Consultant's Report - A lot of holes in boat launch study

Greater Vernon politicians have sunk the results of a boat launch study of Kal and Okanagan lakes. An advisory committee has refused to adopt the report. Electoral Area C director Mike MacNabb says there are alot of holes in it although he suggests the terms of reference were not tight enough. According to NORD staff, the total cost of the report was approximately 77-thousand dollars.

This report was a disaster from the initial stakeholder meeting through the 2 public input sessions. GVAC simply stood back and let it happen. I am not sure why anyone should be surprised at the crappy results......too bad a politician or 2 didn't attend some of these sessions and help to alter the misdirection the report was taking. More taxpayer money down the drain !

What is going on? $77,000 of taxpayers money wasted! We deserve explanations from the "politicians"-was it the terms of reference that the errors were made? Surely the politicians approved the terms of reference first.Lets have some answers or get rid of all of these politicians in November.
