A second pedestrian has died on a Vernon road in two days. This one was just before 4:30 yesterday afternoon. An elderly man wearing dark clothing was hit in the crosswalk by the BX-Silver Star fire hall . He was conscious when ambulance crews arrived and died later in hospital. RCMP say neither alcohol or speed appear to have been factors, but
caution pedestrians about wearing light colored clothes , reflector or
even carrying a light in conditions of poor visibility . Tuesday evening a 56 year old woman was struck and killed while walking along Okanagan Landing Road. She also was wearing dark clothing
